Spring is in the Air!

We are finally seeing a glimpse of warm weather here in the northeast and it has inspired me to think about blossoms in home interior design. Additionally, many showrooms have visited the office recently and we are seeing a new emergence of a time past of these lovely flowers in fabric and wall coverings. Here are just a few examples of beautiful floral pieces for your interior design.

Harlequin – Boutique Collection

Here is an example of beautiful floral wallpaper, from Harlequin Boutique Collection. It’s a fresh take on Dogwood blossoms and as Harlequin described this collection: it’s an “enchanting elegant sprays of interlacing blossoms – a mesmerising surface-printed paper.” This enchanting wall paper will work beautifully in a powder room or any living space. What an amazing feeling to enter a room filled with these fresh bright colorful florals. Can’t you just smell the light airy fragrance!

Schumacher Country Chic Collection

Schumacher Country Chic Collection

Schumacher is reinventing country chic. They are using traditional prints and updating with color and techniques. The first fabric uses a traditional cabanon strip to frame sweet flowers. This fabric would be sweet on a bedroom headboard or for a bolder look on upholstered walls. The second fabric is a traditional print but reinventing with the use of blues. How beautiful to have this on pillows or draperies.

Telafina La Foliage Collection

For the less obvious floral design, these Telafina fabrics would add the freshness of spring to any dining or living space interior.

I hope you have enjoyed these items that remind me of spring. For more interior design and decorating ideas, feel free to visit our website here. If you have any questions or comments, please contact me.
